Reference Interviews (Telephone)

Provides personal, professional, trade, and related interviews or ratings of the applicant. Usually use of a customized standard questionnaire applicable to the position and job responsibilities is used. This can include family members, spouses, ex-spouses, former supervisors, co-workers, personal references and others. Some references may require questionnaire submission by email or fax. Response is at the discretion and willingness of the reference. Some individuals, employees or co-workers may not be willing to participate. Some employers will not release or allow employees to give personal or professional references about current or past employees. A special release signed and dated by the applicant may be required.
