Statewide Criminal Search

This is a broader scope geographical area criminal background check extending the county check to a more comprehensive individual state level search where available. Not all states currently have a statewide repository or information is severely limited or not up to date so caution must be exercised. For instance, Nevada and California among others do not have an all inclusive statewide criminal repository available to the public*. Oregon and Washington State provide reliable statewide information. Approximately 25 states are now available with timely and up to date information. Additional state fees may be applicable. This can be a cost effective way to search criminal records in multiple counties within a state. Call or email to inquire about specific state(s) availability and cost.

*Employer Lynx has proprietary access to the Nevada State Criminal Records Repository. This is the up-to date criminal record histories of every court within every county in Nevada. A special Nevada State Release must be used in addition to the Employer Lynx Release which we will provide. Per Nevada regulations, should a possible hit be indicated a verification of the offense is required before the specific information can be released. If you request a verification search an additional court fee will apply. If no hit is indicated it will be noted on your report and no further action is necessary.
